Tenova has been awarded a revamping contract by Baowu Steel that includes the disassembly, relocation and revamping of five Pomini roll grinders and two Pomini auto loaders. The current roll shop will be completely upgraded with an advanced automation system, which will integrate all grinders and loaders and introduce new technological solutions ensuring high safety and quality standards
In 2008, Pomini Tenova supplied a fully automatic roll shop with five roll grinders and two auto loaders for the Cold Rolling Mill of the Group’s Stainless Steel Branch. With this revamping, the previous roll shop will be transferred to the Baoshan Silicon Plant, where the customer is expanding its production of non-grain oriented silicon steel coils.
