Dutch-German transmission system operator TenneT is seeking companies to provide walk-to-work vessels in the German or Dutch North Seas.
The TSO has launched a qualification process after which the company plans to issue an invitation to tender.
The vessels will support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance campaigns at TenneT’s offshore assets.
The company said that the technical requirements of the jobs will vary in its nature, depending on the scope of work the unit shall fulfil.
It said that, in general, TenneT intends to use such units for platform support services such as accommodation, transfer of personnel and small amounts of cargo, lifting and helicopter flight support.
