Telangana Rains Latest Updates: Red alert in 3 districts; people from low-lying areas in Hyderabad evacuated

Life in most parts of Telangana was thrown out of gear due to heavy rains on Thursday. The IMD has issued a red alert saying very heavy to extremely heavy rain was expected over the next three days.

Hyderabad: As the heavy rainfall continues to batter parts of Telangana, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in three districts - Kumuram Bheem, Jagtial, Warangal, while an orange alert has been issued in nine districts of the southern state.
