Telangana Assembly: Newly-elected MLAs take oath as maiden session of Telangana Assembly begins

The first session of the Third Telangana Legislative Assembly commenced with the oath-taking ceremony for newly-elected MLAs. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took their oaths, with AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi sworn in as Protem Speaker. CM Reddy retained Municipal Administration, Urban Development, General Administration, and Law & Order, along with unallocated portfolios.
