Teen who died in go-kart crash remembered as 'light and life of the party'

MAPLETON — Mapleton police have identified the 13-year-old boy who died after the go-kart he was driving collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Aspen Drive and Dogwood Drive as Bridger Robison.
At 3:56 p.m. Thursday, paramedics responded and found Bridger unconscious and not breathing in the roadway and began resuscitation efforts. The boy was transported to Utah Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead of injuries sustained in the crash, said Mapleton Police Lt. Phillip Bringhurst.
An investigation is underway with Utah Highway Patrol assisting in the accident reconstruction on Thursday. The driver of the vehicle was cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
