A TEENAGER who recorded an expletive-laden video on social media calling a man who accused him of a crime a grass has been told to grow up.
The comment was made by a judge, who also described him as being ‘grossly immature’, before sentencing him for the ‘very serious matter’.
Shaun Bousfield appeared before Liverpool Crown Court after pleading guilty to a charge of witness intimidation in relation to the video.
But the now 18-year-old was told that a community order would be sufficient punishment rather than a custodial sentence.
Mark Phillips, prosecuting, explained how the complainant was a man who claimed he had been the victim of a robbery, in relation to which the defendant was interviewed by police.
