AN injured squirrel which touched the hearts of thousands of people across the country after being taken in and looked after following a bruising encounter with a vehicle on the A835 outside Ullapool is to have a lasting legacy.
Ted was cared for by local activist Noel Hawkins who has previously worked with Ullapool Sea Savers on a range of environmental projects â including a bid to get drivers to slow down at a point where squirrels forage for food and cross the road.
