Teachers pass motion calling for suicide prevention training after tragic death of Ruth Perry - as survey reveals nearly a quarter of staff are using alcohol to cope with stress amid mental health 'crisis'

The motion was passed on Sunday at teachers' union NASUWT's annual conference in Harrogate, where members warned of a 'mental health emergency' within the profession.
