Taylor Swift is once again facing complications over her album's promotional product line, getting hit this week with a $2 million lawsuit over the merch for her latest record,
Evermore.
Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove, Utah, filed a suit against the singer this week, claiming that the merchandise for her new record infringes on the trademarked name of their amusement park. According to the filing obtained by
People, the park is seeking $2 million in damages, claiming that Swift's merch has negatively impacted the sales of their own branded products, as well as their Google search traffic. According to Evermore's website, the park is meant to be “a fantasy European hamlet of imagination” where guests get to choose their team and go on quests where they can “Engage with baby dragons, create fanciful music with dwarves and faeries, or just sit back and enjoy savory food and treats as the world unfolds around you.”
