Taylor Fire Rescue. (District of Taylor)
TAYLOR, B.C – Taylor Fire Rescue is in need of volunteers.
“It’s supporting your local community. It’s the aspect of helping your neighbour and protecting [the community]. Everyone has special talents. The more people we have, the more talents we can obtain to provide their services,” says Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Holder.
Currently, TFR consists of one Fire Chief, one Deputy Fire Chief, three volunteer Captains, three Lieutenants, and twelve firefighters. Holder says there is no limit to the number of volunteers they’re accepting.
