The new Tata Safari 2021 SUV will be underpinned by the home-grown automaker's Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture (OMEGARC) platform, which, in turn, is based on Land Rover's D8 platform.

The buzz around the upcoming Tata Safari 2021 is palpable. In fact, it has been quite so ever since Tata Motors announced that the Tata Gravitas' production-model will be called Tata Safari, thus marking the return of the iconic brand in India. Though the new Tata Safari India launch is still some time, perhaps a few weeks, away, internet sleuths have been hard at work. And in the latest instalment of information to emerge about the 2021 Safari, we now have a picture of the upcoming SUV in India sitting pretty in the company's manufacturing facility. We would say this indicates the car is finally under production, but that is a given at this point, i.e. when the car's formal introduction in the market is just round the corner.
