Task force wants to talk to tow truck driver, seeks public’s help

VACAVILLE — The Solano County Major Crimes Task Force is looking for the tow truck driver who stopped to help a motorist shortly before a fatal police shooting Jan. 30.
The motorist had been involved in a single-vehicle crash at about 10:30 p.m. at westbound Interstate 80 near Midway Road.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived shortly after that and the tow truck driver left the area.
