"Stars on every line": Ross Lyon defends Carlton's drafting calls

Former Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has defended Carlton and their recent decisions at the draft.
The Blues underwent a full rebuild in 2015 under the direction of Stephen Silvagni, using 10 first round picks between 2015 and 2019.
They have come under criticism this year for the development of the likes of Paddy Dow, Lochie O’Brien, Liam Stocker and Sam Petrevski-Seton in particular, with the quartet not yet reaching the lofty expectations out of their draft years.
However, Lyon believes Carlton has done a good job overall at the draft table.
“They’re saying (Carlton’s recruiting) is not successful. Jacob Weitering, Harry McKay and Sam Walsh. Stars on every line,” Lyon told
