'Star Trek: Section 31' film with Michelle Yeoh begins production, adds new cast

Production for Paramount Plus' highly anticipated “Star Trek: Section 31,” starring Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, has begun. Breaking the news: Executive producer Alex Kurtzman announced in a statement that the principal photography for “Star Trek: Section 31” has started. The movie, which was initially planned as a CBS All Access series, will continue the events from “Star Trek: Discovery,” as previously reported.
