Taoyuan factory closed, semester cut short due to COVID-19 cases

Taipei, Jan. 11 (CNA) The 12 new domestically transmitted COVID-19 cases reported in Taiwan on Tuesday have led to the closure of a factory in Taoyuan and the city ending the current school semester early, as the impact of the latest surge in cases spreads.
