The Tanaiste has conceded that an alternative system will have to be considered for administering COVID-19 vaccinations to people who are housebound.
This week, Clare FM highlighted the cases of 99-year-old Joe Kennealy from Kilshanny and 100-year-old Margaret Morgan from Kilmurry McMahon who are both among the estimated 1,000 housebound people who are still waiting for their vaccines.
They also don’t even have a date for when the jabs will be administered, as part of the rollout by the National Ambulance Service.
