New Delhi: The 15-year (three elections) streak ended in the 2021 Tamil Nadu assembly elections, during which the Bharatiya Janata Party did not win a single assembly constituency in the state.
The BJP did not contest on its own and did so as part of the AIADMK-led NDA, but the fact remains that the saffron party candidates won by contesting on their Lotus symbol.
