My spies tell me the Prince has told agents to accept £5 million for the property if a deal can be done by Christmas.
The seven-bedroom lodge, jointly owned with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, went on sale for £18.3 million earlier this year.
The pair are said to be desperate to shift it to repay part of a reported £6.7 million debt. A spokesman for the Prince said: ‘It remains on the market at the asking price.’
