The Big Bake, on Food Network Canada, now in its second season. This is a big, bold, larger-than-life baking competition series that brings three professional teams together for a $10,000 grand prize for best cake creation ever.
Each episode sees the teams – all colourfully attired – given five hours to compete against each other to create huge cakes, based on specific themes. The end results are, quite simply, jaw-dropping, with three-dimensional creations that swirl, twirl and come with all the bells and whistles.
