Taiwan shares end up as TSMC boosted by last-ditch buying

Taipei, July 12 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan closed higher Wednesday as contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) got a boost from buying in the last few minutes of the session to climb out of its previous weakness.
