Tag Team Weekly Roundup and Power Rankings: NXT women’s tag division poised to shine

While it might be a stretch to call William Regal's announcement of NXT women's tag belts "landscape changing" (but don't tell him I said that, because he can clearly still kick my ass without breaking a sweat), nonetheless having another belt and reason to get talent on camera for the deepest women's division in the business is a good thing.
Indeed, given the belt's current main roster arrangement -- where Shayna Baszler has to do almost all the work and Nia Jax gets to continue to look dominant -- one could say the NXT edition is already outshining its main-roster counterpart. That certainly was the case when inaugural titleholders Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez dropped the straps to Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in a match that was way more fun than anything involving the other belts since the Golden Role Models had them.
