Eamonn Holmes put on a brave face as he returned to front This Morning alongside wife Ruth Langsford on Tuesday, after detailing his plight with chronic pain. 
The presenter, 61, - who had an MRI scan last week and is waiting on his diagnosis- said his condition is 'too difficult to explain' after Ruth said viewers had been asking how he was doing.  
Eamonn replied: 'Since the last time I saw you I'm doing very well, thank you for asking.'
