The Syracuse Mets lost their fifth straight game on Friday night, as the Buffalo Bisons beat the Mets, 10-6, at Trenton Thunder Ballpark. Left-handed pitcher Josh Walker started the game for the Mets, making his Triple-A debut. The 26-year-old threw four and one-third innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits, while walking two and striking out three.
Syracuse (23-46) didn’t waste any time getting on the board. In the top of the first inning, Mason Williams hit a solo home run over the right-center-field wall to give the Mets a 1-0 lead.
