Major construction sites in Sydney are operating with less than half of their workforce due to restrictions in western and south-west Sydney and may be forced to close again next week, builders say.
A survey of members by the Master Builders Association that saw more than 1700 responses found two-thirds of construction companies had experienced more than a 50 per cent reduction in work in the week that the sector reopened.
John Holland has had to operate with a significantly reduced workforce for the Sydney Football Stadium project at Moore Park.Â
