TWO goals from Cameron Jerome consigned Swindon Town to a woeful 4-1 defeat at home to fellow strugglers MK Dons on Tuesday night.
In a game that many felt Swindon had to win to get their flailing season back on track, a really poor first half set the tone for a night to forget as Town rarely came close to competing with Russell Martin’s men.
Jerome opened the scoring in the fourth minute, and Daniel Harvie smartly added a second midway through the first 45.
Jack Payne had briefly given the hosts hope of a comeback with a long-range screamer that bounced in off the bar, but Jerome’s second extinguished faint hopes of stealing a point five minutes before half-time.
