At this 2-hour event, members of The Princeton Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will have a chance to explore tools and equipment at the PUL Makerspace with Makerspace Specialist, Ariel Ackerly, and meet Princeton's Engineering Librarian, Willow Dressel. Participants will split into groups and have the option to learn the basics of 3D modeling, 3D printing, soldering, and/or vinyl cutting. This event is open to SWE members who are current students, faculty, or staff of Princeton University. SWE is dedicated to promoting a sense of community among female B.S.E. students, professors, and alumnae of Princeton, and introducing younger girls to the various opportunities offered by studying engineering. This event is capped at 20 participants, and registration is required. Participants will meet in the PUL Makerspace, on the A floor of the Lewis Science Library.
