ROBINSON, Ill. (WTHI) - Police say a suspicious package in an Illinois town square was empty.
Early Monday morning, a custodian found the package outside of the courthouse in Robinson's town square.
Police in Robinson requested the Illinois State Police bomb squad's help investigating the box.
Early Monday afternoon, police told News 10 the box was empty - but they did believe there was intent on leaving the box, so there will be a further investigation.
