Suspects in Bozeman kidnapping make initial court appearance

BOZEMAN — The two suspects in the reported kidnapping in Bozeman on Saturday evening are being held in the Gallatin County Detention Center.
Issac Cardona of Belgrade, 42 years old, Jamey Charon Jr. of Manhattan, 24, were seen in Gallatin County Justice Court on Monday morning. Cardona has been charged with aggravated kidnapping, tampering with witness and informants, and assault with a weapon. Charon was charged with aggravated kidnapping.
Law enforcement in Gallatin County took Cardona and Charon into custody Saturday evening after a reported kidnapping in Bozeman. According to charging documents, the Sheriff's Office, along with the Bozeman Police Department, Belgrade Police Department, and Montana Highway Patrol responded to a report of an attempted kidnapping and homicide-in-progress just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
