Suspected serial killer accused of smothering at least a dozen Texas women hit with three more murder charges

A Texas man accused of smothering more than a dozen women residing in a senior living facility has been charged with another three counts of capital murder.
A Dallas grand jury handed down the additional felony charges against Billy Chemirmir on Tuesday, the same day as his 48th birthday.
The suspected serial killer is facing a total of 17 counts of capital murder and two counts of attempted murder in Dallas and Collin Counties, the Dallas Morning News reported. He has also been linked through medical examiner reports and civil case filings to another seven slayings, bringing his death count up to 24.
