Suspected ‘military’ armed robbers remanded

Mr Kwame Ampaw Oduro, a dismissed military personnel and other accomplices, who allegedly robbed some sand winners have been remanded into police custody to re-appear on the 25
th of this month.
His accomplices, namely Isaac Appiah-Kubi, a mechanic and a civilian employee at Burma camp, Emmanuel Arthur and Basit Sulley were put before the Ofaakor Magistrate Court on Friday.
The suspects have been slapped with seven counts of charges, including conspiracy to commit crime namely robbery, robbery and causing harm.
Other charges included display of arm or ammunition contrary to Sections: 23(1) & 149, 149, 69 – all of Act 29/69, Section: 7(3) & (4) and other charges on land guard activities.
