Suspected drunken driver dies from injuries suffered in Northern Michigan crash

EMMET COUNTY, MI - A suspected drunk driver has died from injuries suffered in a Northern Michigan crash.
UpNorthLive.com reports that an officer with the Petoskey Department of Public Safety stopped a vehicle on Standish Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 9.
After speaking with the officer for about five minutes, the driver drove off in the vehicle south on Standish Avenue then continued south on Howard Road.
The officer later found the damaged vehicle on the west side of Howard Road, according to the TV station.
