BILLINGS — More details were released Wednesday about an attempted abduction in Lockwood and a dangerous high-speed chase along Interstate-94 on Tuesday.
Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder said 34-year-old Terry Allen Smith is being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility and the woman he allegedly tried to abduct is recovering from injuries.
Linder said Smith tried to abduct a woman he did not know in Lockwood. She was able to fight him off and another person stepped in to help. Linder said the woman was injured while escaping Smith.
