Suspect charged with murder in Sunday grocery store shooting

Kenon Shivers, 44, of Gary, is accused of firing a fatal shot at 48-year-old Demitrice Pierce around 7 p.m. Sunday at Sam's Market at 2101 Virginia St. in Gary.
