VENICE, CA — A 45-year-old man Thursday was arrested and booked on suspicion of killing 76-year-old photographer John DeCindis, who died from his injuries after a brutal attack while he was walking his dog on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
DeCindis died on Feb. 27. Friends say he was attacked near the Brig on Abbot Kinney.
Obie Thompson, 45, was booked on suspicion of murder and elder abuse in connection to the assault last month, officials said.

The attack happened in the 1500 block of Abbot Kinney Boulevard, after DeCindis was confronted and followed by the suspect from Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Milwood Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
