Susan Mary Murtomaki

It is with great sadness the family of Susan Mary Murtomaki announce her passing on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 68 years.
Susan was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands on May 4, 1952. She attended the School of Occupational Therapy in Northampton, United Kingdom. She came to Canada in 1975, where she met and married the love of her life, Aarno “Arnold”. Susan was an Occupational Therapist, first at Westmount Hospital and later at St. Joseph's Hospital - devoted to her community and assisting others.
For almost 30 years, Susan, Arnold and their children sailed on their beloved sailboat 'Four in One', creating lifetime memories together on Lake Superior. This was in addition to spending summer days and winter weekends at their camp on Dog Lake. She loved to travel and adored her hometown of Guernsey, Channel Islands and visiting her family there. Family was everything to Susan.
