Supreme Court: Can't allow sexual harassment cases to be swept under carpet
A Bench headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde and also comprising Justice A.S. Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian said: “We cannot allow sexual harassment cases to be swept under the carpet like this.”

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday said it cannot allow sexual harassment cases to be swept under the carpet.
The apex Court made this observation while hearing a plea by a former district judge from Madhya Pradesh challenging disciplinary proceedings agianst him initiated by the Madhya Pradesh High Court following sexual harassment allegations made by a junior judicial officer.
