Supporters seek national designation for Tucson's January 8th Memorial - Cronkite News

Organizers behind the January 8th Memorial marking the Jan. 8, 2011, mass shooting in Tucson that killed six and wounded 13, including then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, want the site to earn a national designation, but the National Park Service is lukewarm to the idea.
