The “All Things Kids” clothing and school supply drive will be held at the Salvation Army on Aug. 17 and 18.
The goal is to have enough clothes, sizes newborns to 18, for students to start the school year. Many local businesses are supporting this drive with donations and letting their location be a drop-off place for donations. All of these clothes and school supplies will be free to anyone who needs them.
Anna Daniels, social services director of the Salvation Army, hopes that people will bring the clothes to them instead of trying to sell them online or at a rummage sale. The Salvation Army is making it easy for people to donate by offering to pick up donations.
