Superheroes – and supervillains- possibly Peace region bound this fall

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB. – Plans for the first-ever Peace region comic and fantasy expo are in the works to host a live event in Grande Prairie this fall.
A Facebook group was created on February 1st called Peace Country Comic & Fantasy Expo to begin updating fans and to build interest in the region as planning is underway.
No dates or information surrounding the event has been announced.
Production committee lead Tosh Mugambi says the region has been waiting for an event like this.
“Around the Peace region, there are at least 400,000 people here, right? I am willing to bet there’s up to 20,000 nerds that would support an event like that,” says Mugambi.
