Albert Vete, on the charge for the Warriors in 2017, hopes to impress Tonga's World Cup coach while he plays for Super League club Hull Kingston Rovers.
Former Warriors props Albert Vete and King Vuniyayawa hope shifting to Super League will be their springboard to the Rugby League World Cup.
Vete, who has two caps for Tonga, has joined Hull Kingston Rovers on a two-year deal, while Fiji international Vuniyayawa is on a one-season deal at the Leeds Rhinos.
Vuniyayawa, 25, made his Warriors debut last year, playing five NRL games before opting to return to Auckland after the club was forced to relocate to Australia due to the Covid-19 crisis.
