Sununu orders NH National Guard home after reports of US members sleeping in parking garages

Gov. Chris Sununu is ordering the "immediate return" of New Hampshire National Guard members from their deployment in Washington, D.C., after reports surfaced that many members were forced to sleep in unheated parking garages.
The Washington Post and Politico reported that hundreds of Guard troops were forced out of areas of the Capitol they had been using for rest breaks and were relocated to a nearby garage. Sign up for our Newsletters
