Sunday's HOF Marathon events bring more than 2,500 runners to Canton

Last year's event was canceled as Ohioans remained under state mandated health orders restricting large gatherings.
"We're just glad they allowed us to do this in-person this year... we're glad COVID is allowing us to do this," Rachita said.
Participants started and finished at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, ran along Fulton Drive and throughout Canton's Ridgewood and Plain Township's Avondale neighborhoods.
Marathon and team relay races started at 7 a.m. and half-marathon runners were released in groups between 8 and 10 a.m.
The weather provided a cool early morning breeze with temps in the upper 60s., lower 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
