A 26-year-old man from Balishankara village in Sundargarh district has secured an all-India rank (AIR) of 8th in the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Prateek Naik appeared for the written examination in June last year. He qualified to appear for the personal interview after results were declared in August. Out of 85 candidates who appeared for the personal interview, 33 were selected, including Prateek who was ranked eighth.
