Sumter Co. Coroner identifies man killed in shooting on Broad Street

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a shooting on Broad Street.
Officials say 27-year-old Alki Williams was struck by gunfire on April 9. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An autopsy for Williams will be performed on Tuesday at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
The Sumter Police Department is assisting the Coroner’s Office with the investigation.
