Suisun seeks volunteers for Adopt-a-Street Program
SUISUN CITY — The city is looking for locals who want to join the Adopt-a-Street Program, created by two city residents in the vein of Caltrans’s Adopt-a-Highway Program but on a local scale.
Volunteer clubs and/or individual volunteers will be provided with a cleanup kit that will consist of garbage pickers, gloves, garbage bags and high-visibility safety vests.
They are asked to commit two years with the program and to removing trash on their adopted street/location a minimum of six times per year.
