The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the National Suicide Hotline Designation Act, which will create a three-digit 988 hotline number for suicide prevention and mental health crises starting in July 2022. Sam Brinton of the Trevor Project joined LX News to discuss how this service will be life-saving for the LGBTQ youth community.
