In a release, the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP said officers were called at 3:08 p.m. on April 3.
As a result, they charged a 54-year-old suspect with spousal assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm to a spouse.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice next month in Sudbury.
