The Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education will consider several proposals at its next meeting, set to start at 5:30 p.m. Monday
The in-person meeting will be held in the large-instruction room at Sturgis Middle School on East Lafayette Street.
Agenda items include announcing the March 2021 "Trojan Heroes" recipients, an update on the extended COVID-19 schooling plan and looking to reinstate a school resource officer for the district through the city public safety department.
The board also plans to take action on purchasing interactive classroom boards for lower elementary classrooms and to consider the purchase of a John Deere 4052R compact utility tractor.
