We can probably all agree the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is one of the most underappreciated cars of the last two decades despite ticking all the boxes of what most people consider to be the quintessential Italian sports car slash gran turismo.

The 8C came with a naturally-aspirated 4.7-liter Ferrari V8 producing 450 horsepower, but despite featuring one of the best engines on this planet, it's actually the exterior design that manages to steal the show. Whether it's the coupe or the Spyder version, the two-seater from Alfa Romeo looks nothing short of perfect.
Or so you would have thought until Touring Superleggera released the Disco Volante back in 2013. The Italian coachbuilder somehow managed to make the gorgeous 8C Competizione even more stunning by giving it a pronounced retro vibe.
