The Indian Embassy in China held its first interactive session with 80 Indian students from over 13 Chinese universities who suffered the most during the three-year COVID-19 period. The meeting, attended by Indian Ambassador to China Pradeep Kumar Rawat and Counsellor Nitinjeet Singh, heard their grievances and experiences. The number of Indian students studying medicine in Chinese universities has decreased to around 10,000 across China. The Indian Embassy actively pursued with China to permit the early return of students, but advised them to remain cautious and disciplined.
